Your long since shadow, Imperfectly placed like a blanket on my mind, For so long forgotten words and faces were hidden in the trees that i thought i wouldnt find, You and that smile that always put my peices back together in the heart shaped puzzle box, Beating rythmically with the sound of ticking clocks and the time that was then but i want it back now but your forced hand forced me out of your head in the clouds, Where heaven stood with a power that made me bow, that made me kneel in a pile of broken glass that cut me deeper then when i lost you, and when i lost the future i thought that i had, I moved on and taped my wounds closed but nothing i could do could hold shut the internal wounds your memory cut again and again, my mind goes back to the tick tock of time i couldnt steal back no matter how many times i stole the pages to my story i didnt want written, I felt like i could once again gain the smile i lost if i stole the evidence hat you were ever missing, But the pile of dirty notes that i took were kissing the back of my brain with the evident pain from an evident love,... Why couldnt i get above all this?, Why do i long for that kiss that was rightfully stolen at the moment it felt most right?, It's for the love of the smile and the memory i just cnat hold back, That i can no longer fight.
